Authorities and family members are searching for an elderly couple who has been missing for nearly a week.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department missing persons bulletins, Jesus Munoz and his wife, Maria Asuncion Munoz, were last seen in the 4200 block of Milburn Drive in unincorporated Los Angeles on April 20, which is Easter Sunday.
The couple was last seen around 2 p.m. that day, LASD said.
Jesus and Maria’s possible destination is the Costco in Alhambra, located at 2207 West Commonwealth Avenue. They are said to be traveling in a white 2007 Nissan Pathfinder with a California license plate #7BAF335, the bulletins indicate.
Jesus, 83, stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 137 pounds and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, a black leather jacket and dark pants. He is diagnosed with anxiety, LASD said.
Maria, 82, is 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 95 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. She has Alzheimer’s, authorities confirmed.
The family of Jesus and Maria Munoz are concerned for their wellbeing and are turning to the public for help. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Unit: 323-890-5500.
