Authorities have released video footage from the police-involved shooting involving author Jillian Lauren — the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner — earlier this month.

The April 8 footage from security cameras showed an armed Lauren, 51, emerging barefooted from the couple’s Eagle Rock home, holding a 9mm gun in her right hand.

She surveyed the backyard for a minute in the video before making her way around to the front of the house, and then toward the driveway.

The footage then shifts to LAPD body-camera video of officers standing behind a wooden fence, repeatedly telling Lauren to put her handgun down.

“Ma’am, we are trying to help you,” shouts one of the officers. “You’re going to get shot. It’s the police!”

One of the officers remarks in the clip, “She just pointed it.”

Confusion follows, with cops yelling commands over one another. Then, shots erupt, and the video stops.

Lauren fired her gun at police, according to the LAPD, prompting them to fire back, striking her in the shoulder.

The “Say It Ain’t So” band member’s wife was arrested after interfering in the LAPD’s search for three misdemeanor hit-and-run suspects who fled a freeway crash and ran into a residential neighborhood, according to authorities.

She was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Sources said Lauren could not see the officers, and mistook them for an intruder.

The best-selling author has been charged with attempted murder.

Lauren has penned two best-selling memoirs: 2010’s “Some Girls: My Life in a Harem” and 2015’s “Everything You Ever Wanted.”

The couple has been married since 2005, and have two adopted sons.

Lauren has yet to publicly comment on the incident
