How can I watch the Met Gala 2025 livestream, and at what time should I tune in?
The 2025 Met Gala arrivals will be livestreamed on Vogue’s YouTube channel beginning at 6:00 p.m. ET sharp on Monday, May 5. You can also catch the livestream on any of Vogue’s social platforms, though I’m of the opinion that the bigger the screen, the better.
You can also check out Glamour’s social media for exclusive red carpet content. This is a multiple-screens situation, people! Just don’t be late.
Who’s hosting the livestream?
Teyana Taylor, La La Anthony, and SNL’s Ego Nwodim will host Vogue’s livestream, while Emma Chamberlain will return as Vogue’s special correspondent on the red carpet.
Remind me of the theme?
The theme of this year’s Costume Institute exhibition is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. According to the Metropolitan Museum’s website, its “a cultural and historical examination of Black style over three hundred years through the concept of dandyism.”

The dress code for the event is “Tailored for You,” so expect a lot of suiting and menswear-inspired gowns.
Who’s on the guest list?
Oh, you thought we’d just tell you? The notoriously private (and famously A-list) guest list is still under wraps, however, the co-chairs of the event were announced last fall, so we have at least a few attendees confirmed. The co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour. LeBron James will also serve as an honorary chair.
Now, this is just an educated guess, but we can probably count on Rocky’s partner (er, wife?) Rihanna to attend this year as his date. Because what is a Met Gala with out a late entrance from the super star? I shudder to imagine.
