Teddi Mellencamp gave an “exciting” update on her stage 4 cancer battle.
“The crying is already done,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum said in a video shared to Instagram Wednesday.
“I just finished with all of my scans and my tumors have significantly shrunk, which doctors believe means that this [treatment] all will work and that I will be back to myself and feeling good!”
Mellencamp, 43, further shared that she has two more sessions of immunotherapy and then “hopefully [she will be] done and cancer-free.”
“I’m gonna keep a positive outlook because that’s the way that my doctor just spoke to me,” she said. He’s like, ‘You did this. You got this.’”
Mellencamp added in her caption, “I have 6ish more weeks of immunotherapy and doctors believe I will be healed if everything stays on course.”
She concluded the post by thanking her followers for their love, prayers and positivity throughout the difficult time.
The update comes after the Bravolebrity shared earlier this month that she had a “50/50” chance of beating her cancer.
“It’s one of my favorite things to ask is ‘How long I got?’ or ‘What are my chances?’ And they often times say, ’50/50,’” Mellencamp said in an interview on “Nightline.”
She recalled telling doctors, “’50/50?! I wouldn’t buy a car that’s only gonna drive 50 percent of the time. I don’t want this!’”
The reality TV star revealed she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in 2022.
In February, she shared that doctors found “multiple tumors” on her brain.
Soon after, doctors removed four tumors from her brain in an emergency surgery. She then began to undergo immunotherapy treatment to treat the rest of the tumors doctors found in her body.
