Meghan Markle got candid about giving herself grace to make mistakes while launching multiple businesses simultaneously this year.

The Duchess of Sussex discussed working on her As Ever lifestyle brand, her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” and her “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast during Wednesday’s TIME100 Summit in New York City.

“The past year-and-a-half has been incredibly busy and ambitious,” she said. “You see it all come to life and try to give yourself the space and the grace to make mistakes, to know you’re not doing it right every day.”

Markle, 43, acknowledged that she’s always under a “microscope” and faces “scrutiny” but makes a “very conscious effort to create boundaries for herself, her wellbeing and mental health,” per the Daily Mail.

The “Suits” alum admitted that “she’s not going to get it right” all the time but shared how her kids, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, help to put everything in perspective.

“Something that is seemingly so big somehow becomes so microscopic in importance compared to what’s happening with my children,” she explained.

Markle shared that her most significant job is being a “role model” to her kids and “raising a very strong and confident young woman.”

“But also having son, I think that is just as paramount,” she continued, explaining the importance “for young men to be raised with a confidence and sense of self that is going to empower the women around them too.”

“So I try to model that behavior, but again, it starts with whatever’s going on internally,” the former actress said. “I am able to just tune out whatever that noise is, really not give it any credence.”

During the appearance, Markle also shared that she’s the “happiest” she’s ever been with her businesses, kids and husband Prince Harry, 40.

“To have a partner and a husband who is so supportive and have healthy kids who are so joyful,” she gushed. “I never would have imagined at this point I would feel so happy and grateful, and I really do.”

Markle’s Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” and the first episode of her “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast debuted earlier this month.

She also launched the first products for her As Ever brand in April.

Markle first announced her lifestyle brand, originally called American Riviera Orchard, in 2024 before changing the name due to trademark setbacks.

In March, the entrepreneur told People she was embracing her mistakes as she figured out the ups and downs of launching a company “in real time.”
