A new store is set to open Friday at Universal Citywalk Hollywood as the theme park continues to revamp its outdoor shopping and dining area.
The Line Friends store will officially open on Friday, April 25, with grand opening celebrations running through April 27 and again from May 2 to May 4. The event promises family-friendly fun, themed merchandise, and appearances by fan-favorite mascots, including Brown and the BT21 crew.
Line Friends are a collection of characters that originated as stickers for the messaging app Line. They have since grown into a global character brand.
The first 30 guests in line each day during the Grand Opening Weekends will receive free goodie bags to kick off the festivities. Every visitor is also eligible to participate in a “lucky draw,” where everyone walks away with a prize. Guests can enjoy mascot appearances daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the exception of May 2.
In addition to on-site gifts and photo opportunities, shoppers can take home even more surprises with any purchase—and in some cases, simply by stopping in.
Customers who make a purchase between April 25 and May 4 will be entered into a raffle to win one of two pairs of general admission tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood. Entries must be submitted in person at the store.
Located at 100 Universal City Plaza, Suite #180, the Line Friends store will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and offers a wide range of character merchandise, from plushies and apparel to K-pop collectibles.
This will be the company’s third U.S. location. It already has stores in New York and near the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
