Kid Cudi is taking on the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival with his first-ever short film. Neverland, which is a music video, is set to premiere in New York City later this summer, marking the creative multihyphenate’s first entry into the esteemed festival.

Neverland also marks a reunion between Cudi and his X director, Ti West, with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions handling the production.

Information about Neverland remains slim, but Cudder shared some more on socials about his Tribeca debut, noting that Neverland is also the name of the lead single lifted off his forthcoming studio album and confirming a rollout is on the way.

“I am so damn excited for u all to see what we cooked up for u,” he wrote. “This was a huge passion project, its different and something u haven’t seen before. So get ready people. Also! NEVERLAND is the name of my first single to my new album, which is comin to you very very soon. Stay tuned fam. The rollout begins..”

He also confirmed that on the heels of Neverland’s premiere, the film will hit theaters worldwide, writing “ALSO! The NEVERLAND short film will play at AMC theaters as well in June after the Tribeca premiere. News on dates in June. Im also doin my own popcorn bucket (which is fuckin unreal) so stay tuned for more NEVERLAND news soon.”

The 2025 Tribeca Film Festival is scheduled to run from June 4 through June 15 and features a stacked lineup of 93 short films, with other contributions coming from Miley Cyrus and Billy Joel. This year’s festival sees a new emphasis on the Tribeca Shorts programming, with the introduction of the Shorts Cinema at Spring Studios  – a space dedicated to screening solely the festival’s programmed shorts.

Stay tuned as more information on Neverland surfaces.
