PHOENIX — The North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park will open for the 2025 season on May 15, officials announced on Monday.
The Grand Canyon Lodge will reopen, and Grand Canyon Trail Rides will also resume that day. The lodge’s dining room will be open each day for breakfast and lunch, although dinner will be reservation-only.
Grocery, retail, food and beverage, shower and laundry services will also resume May 15, while the gas station will also reopen.
In addition, the Grand Canyon Conservancy bookstore and Backcountry Information Center will also begin daily operations. Both of these services will open at 8 a.m., while rangers will be on hand each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help with information and trip planning.
Information on daily Park Ranger programs will further be available via the Roaring Springs Overlook kiosk.
The last day for most of the seasonal services will be Oct. 15.
Authorities said the Bright Angel Point Trail on the North Rim leading to Bright Angel Point will be closed for the season’s entirety due to construction.
