Two men were found with fatal gunshot wounds Sunday on a bare stretch of road in the Antelope Valley, law enforcement officials announced.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a traffic collision with injuries just before 9:30 a.m. at a parcel of land near 47th Street East and Avenue V-4 in Palmdale, a LASD news release stated.
The location is approximately seven miles from Littlerock.
At the scene, deputies along with crews from L.A. County Fire Department, located the two victims, only described as Hispanic males, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both men were declared dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said.
Homicide investigators did not say whether there were any damaged vehicles in the vicinity, nor did they provide any information on the victims’ identities or their relationship to one another.
It’s also unclear if any firearms or other weapons were found at the scene.
