Terrifying footage taken during the chaos of the Florida State University Tallahassee shooting shows a gunman marching up and down a campus green and firing a handgun at fleeing students – while a victim lies slumped and bloodied in the grass nearby.

The shooter appeared to be armed with a handgun, which rang out with rapid shots as screaming students ducked for cover, the video circulating on social media shows.

Other clips appeared to show the wounded individual alive and later being helped by police.

The videos are just the latest scenes of carnage and terror coming out the school, where a lone gunman opened up on seemingly random people near the student union just after noon Thursday.

At least two people are confirmed dead, while five more are wounded.

The suspected gunman — 20-year-old FSU student Phoenix Ikner — is in custody and being treated at the hospital after being shot by police.

He was caught with a handgun, and also a shotgun, police confirmed.

This is a breaking story. Please check back for updates.
