Judge nixes grey-ing Sean “Diddy” Combs’ bid to delay May sex trafficking trial

A Manhattan judge on Friday shot down increasingly grey-haired Sean “Diddy” Combs’ bid to delay his sex trafficking trial by two months.

The jailed music mogul had asked for opening statements in the closely watched case to be pushed back until July so that he’d have more time to chase down evidence to use in his defense.

But Judge Arun Subramanian denied the request, noting that the 55-year-old music mogul has plenty of resources to properly prep for his May trial, including lawyers from four defense firms.

“It is unclear why there isn’t sufficient time to prepare,” Subramanian said during a two-hour-hearing in Manhattan federal court.

The judge also ruled that three of Combs’ alleged victims in his bombshell indictment will be allowed to testify at the trial using pseudonyms.

Those witnesses will take the stand alongside Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, who sources familiar with the case have confirmed to The Post has agreed to testify using her real name.

Combs sat calmly at the defense table Friday in a tan jail-issued outfit sporting a goatee that has grown increasingly more grey in the months since his September 2024 arrest. He’s being held without bail at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where inmates are not allowed to use hair dye.

The Harlem-born “I’ll be Missing U” rapper is charged with leading his Bad Boy Records label as a criminal enterprise and with forcing women to engage in drug-fueled sex marathons he called “Freak-Offs.” He has pleaded not guilty.

After Friday’s hearing ended, Combs was allowed to turn his chair around and face his mother, Janice Combs, who was seated in the courthouse gallery.

“I love you,” he told her, waving in her direction.

Opening statements are slated for May 12, and the trial is expected to last between eight and 10 weeks.
