(WHNT) — It’s officially playoff baseball time for several teams across the Tennessee Valley, and Classes 1A through 6A are battling on the diamond in the first round of the 2025 AHSAA playoffs.
Teams will need to win two games to advance to the second round.
Here’s a look at some of the scores after Friday’s slate of games:
Class 1A:
Athens Bible vs. Ider: Trojans take series 9-6 and 7-6.
Addison vs. Skyline: Addison sweeps Skyline 22-0 ad 18-0.
Class 2A:
Red Bay vs. Cold Springs:
Cedar Bluff vs. Decatur Heritage: Eagles get the sweep with 20-4 and 8-0 wins.
Belgreen vs. North Sand Mountain: Bison win both games 7-2 and 14-1.
Mars Hill Bible vs. Pisgah: Panthers sweep the Eagles 11-2 and 14-1.
Class 3A:
Whitesburg Christian vs. Colbert County: Warriors shutout the Indians 16-0 and 12-0.
Rogers vs. Collinsville: Collinsville sweeps series 5-2 and 7-6.
Fyffe vs. Lauderdale County: Tigers win game one 8-1
Phil Campbell vs. Elkmont: Phil Campbell wins series 5-4 and 7-4.
Class 4A:
Central-Florence vs. Randolph: Central-Florence wins series and will advance to second round.
Good Hope vs. Madison County: Tigers get the sweep 5-2 and 16-3.
Deshler vs. West Limestone: Tigers shutout and sweet the Wildcats 4-0 and 13-0.
New Hope vs. West Morgan: Indians took game 4-1 but the Rebels won game two 9-6. Winner-take-all game three will begin Saturday at West Morgan High School at 1 p.m.
Class 5A:
Douglas vs. Madison Academy: Mustangs shut out the Eagles 8-0 and 5-0. Madison Academy moves on to the second round.
Russellville vs. Arab: Golden Tigers sweep the Knights 8-1 and 5-0.
Scottsboro vs. Boaz: Wildcats win game one 2-1, but Pirates sail to 8-0 win in game two. Winner-take-all game three is set for Saturday at 1 p.m. at Boaz High School.
Lawrence County vs. Fairview: Red Devils get the sweep with a 6-3 and 12-3 win.
Class 6A:
Southside vs. Hartselle: Tigers win game one 3-1 and take game two as well 11-1.
Cullman vs. Hazel Green:
Mortimer Jordan vs. Buckhorn:
Muscle Shoals vs. Fort Payne:
