Netflix unveiled a small glimpse into Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia by releasing a teaser trailer for the next installment of one of its biggest YA series, which returns to the small screen June 5.

“What happens when everything falls apart?” Antonia Gentry’s titular Ginny, short for Virginia, says at the beginning of the clip, which first shows her mother Georgia (Brianne Howey) behind bars with a loud buzzer. “The rug can be pulled out from under you in a second.”

The cut makes it look like Ginny is walking toward Georgia, who is escorted by a cop or security guard, in the prison with a packed bag and puffy jacket.

“Don’t you wanna ask me if I did it?” Georgia says, from what looks to be like their Wellsbury, Massachusetts home.

Then comes a montage of Ginny in a red dress at what looks to be like a school dance, her father Zion (Nathan Mitchell) with both Ginny and her half brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) as well as Georgia’s betrothed Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter) at the end of the bench looking confused at something being presented in court, Joe (Raymond Ablack) with some long hair, a fiercely angry Gil (Aaron Ashmore) — Diesel’s father and Paul wrapping Georgia in a tight hug.

Ginny and Austin share a surprised glance as they often do with each other at the top of their home’s stairs, and Ginny almost kisses a shorter-haired Marcus (Felix Mallard) who has some kind of orange paint on his nose.

Cynthia Fuller (Sabrina Grdevich) waits outside a front door, and the members of MANG— Sara Waisglass’ Max, Katie Douglas’ Abby, Chelsea Clark’s Norah and Ginny — pose for a selfie at the dance.
