William Levy, an actor whose credits include Tyler Perry’s The Single Moms Club (2014) and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016), was arrested in Weston, Florida this week, NBC6 South Florida reports.
According to the outlet, Levy was hit with charges of disorderly intoxication in public and trespassing of an occupied structure or conveyance, and was booked on Monday (April 14) at Broward Main Jail in Broward County, Florida. Other details surrounding the charges have not yet been publicly released.
Per CBS News Miami, Levy is awaiting a trial, and a bond amount has yet to be set for either charge. The outlet also reports that records show the two charges listed as pending.
Levy’s work spans telenovelas, a Jennifer Lopez music video, and TV and film credits including Single Ladies, The Tempest, Addicted (2014), Term Life (2016), The Veil (2017), Girls Trip (2017), Star, The Scent of Passion, South Beach Love (2021) and Montecristo.
In addition to acting and producing, Levy also competed on Season 14 of Dancing with the Stars alongside pro dancer Cheryl Burke, which aired in 2012.
The 44-year-old actor was born Aug. 29, 1980 in Cuba, and shares two children — Christopher and Kailey — with fellow actor Elizabeth Gutiérrez, whom he separated from last year, per People.
He took recently to Instagram on March 11 to congratulate his son Christopher on being named Sports Illustrated‘s Player of the Week in South Florida for his work on the American Heritage Patriots baseball team.
