No one likes filing their tax returns. But when you’re done, at least you can treat yourself to some discounted food as a reward.

A number of major restaurants and retailers are offering deals and freebies in honor of Tax Day, hoping to ease our financial stresses with markdowns on doughnuts or cheeseburgers. This year, the offers include buy-one-get-one cookie cake, discounted mozzarella sticks and pizza “refund” vouchers.

Hungry for a budget-friendly bite? Check out the offers below.

  • Great American Cookies is offering buy-one-get-one-free Cookie Cake slices on April 15. Just mention the offer at checkout.
  • Krispy Kreme is giving taxpayers an additional deduction by offering a dozen original glazed donuts for just the price of sales tax in your state, but only when you purchase a dozen original or assorted doughnuts in-store first.
  • Burger King is offering Royal Perks members 1-cent cheeseburgers with any purchase totaling $1 or more at participating restaurants. The offer will be available in restaurants, on the BK app and the Burger King website for advance orders placed online but won’t be available in Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. territories.
  • Casey’s is offering rewards members who purchase any large pizza on April 15 a “pizza refund” in the form of a free large one-topping pizza credited to their account. The refund can be redeemed at any time until May 6.
  • BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is offering customers $10 off a $40 purchase when they use promo code 10OFF40 at checkout. The offer is valid for dine-in, takeout, and delivery on Tax Day only.
  • On April 15 only, participating Hooters restaurants are offering customers their choice of a select appetizer for $4.15 (including mozzarella sticks, buffalo shrimp and more) by applying a Tax Day reward in the Hooters at at checkout.
  • At Shake Shack, customers can get a Free Black Truffle Burger (Single), Black Truffle ‘Shroom or Black Truffle Parmesan Fries with a purchase of $10.40 or more by using the code TRUFFLETAX at an in-store kiosk or in the Shake Shack app. The offer is valid now through April 27.
  • Potbelly is offering a free Original sandwich with the purchase of another Big or Original sandwich on April 15. Customers are instructed to use the promo code BOGO when placing an order online or in the app.
  • 7-Eleven is offering an exclusive Tax Day deal via the 7NOW app. Customers can get $10.40 off on any order of $20 or more with code WRITEOFF.
  • Buffalo Wild Wings Rewards members can get a free sandwich with a $15 minimum order throughout April as part of the chain’s Month of Free Deals.

Each offer is available for a limited time, and some are only at participating locations. Customers are encouraged to check specific apps and websites for availability, details and restrictions.
