Loved ones and detectives are seeking the community’s help in finding a teenage girl who went missing on Sunday afternoon.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Amauri Shalougn Williams, a county resident, was last seen around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Date Avenue and Oldfield Street in Lancaster.
Williams is described as a 13-year-old Black female who stands 5 feet and 4 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
The missing person report added that Williams also goes by the moniker Dada Mauri.
When she was last seen, Williams was wearing a black T-shirt, blue sweatshirt, black jeans and black boots.
Officials did not immediately add whether Williams was last seen on foot or in a vehicle, or if she had a known destination.
The teen’s family is concerned for her well-being and is pleading for community members to help find her and bring her home.
