Katy Perry dissed by fast-food giant Wendy’s after Blue Origin spaceflight: ‘Can we send her back’

Wendy’s has beef with Katy Perry.

The fast-food chain had a shady reaction to the pop star blasting off into space with Jeff Bezos’ company Blue Origin as part of an all-female crew that also included Lauren Sánchez and Gayle King.

In a response to a Pop Crave post that read, “Katy Perry has returned from space,” the official Wendy’s account wrote via X on Monday, “Can we send her back.”

Kesha, who sued Perry’s longtime collaborator Dr. Luke for rape in 2014, then posted an image of herself taking a sip out of a Wendy’s cup to further slight the “Firework” songstress.

Perry, 40, notably has continued to work with the music producer, 51, despite the 38-year-old “Tik Tok” singer’s claims.

“Look, I understand that it started a lot of conversations. He was one of many collaborators that I collaborated with. But the reality is, it comes from me,” the “Roar” singer said in September 2024 in response to backlash she received for teaming up with Luke again on her latest album, “143.”

“The truth is, I wrote these songs from my experience of my whole life going through this metamorphosis. And he was one of the people to help facilitate all that. One of the writers, one of the producers.”

Kesha and Luke — who has long denied any wrongdoing and sued the former for defamation — settled their legal battle in June 2023. The “Die Young” singer said at the time, “Only God knows what happened that night as I have always said.”

Page Six reached out to Perry’s rep for comment on Wendy’s and Kesha’s digs but has not heard back.

Several other celebrities have voiced disdain over Perry, Sánchez and King’s approximately 11-minute flight into outer space.

Olivia Munn was the first to speak out prior to the New Shepard rocket’s takeoff Monday, saying on  “Today with Jenna & Friends” last week, “What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here? … I think it’s a bit gluttonous.”

Olivia Wilde then threw her own shade via her Instagram Stories on Monday, writing, “Billion dollars bought some good memes I guess.”

Model Emily Ratajkowski, meanwhile, said via her Stories that she was “disgusted” by the mission, asking, “You care about Mother Earth and it’s about Mother Earth, and you’re going up in a spaceship that is built and paid for by a company that’s singlehandedly destroying the planet?”

The star-studded voyage — which also included NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen and film producer Kerianne Flynn — marked the first all-female spaceflight since 1963.

King, 70, hit back at the criticism during a post-flight panel Monday, saying, “Anybody that’s criticizing doesn’t really understand what is happening here.

“We can all speak to the response we’re getting from young women, from young girls about what this represents.”

King’s best friend Oprah Winfrey applauded the CBS host for overcoming her fear of flying with the mission.

Perry said at the time that she hopes the public can recognize the flight wasn’t “a ride” or a “destination” but rather a “journey,” adding, “It was a supernatural one. My journey has always been about love.”

Sánchez — who is engaged to billionaire Blue Origin founder Bezos — said she gets “fired up” over the backlash.

“I would love to have them come to Blue Origin and see the thousands of employees that don’t just work here, but they put their heart and soul into this vehicle,” the former journalist, 55, added.

“They love their work, and they love the mission, and it’s a big deal for them.”
