James Brolin shared the bedroom secret to his nearly 27-year marriage with his wife, Barbra Streisand.

“The best investment we’ve ever made is our mattress,” the actor divulged on the “Today” show Tuesday.

“And don’t misunderstand me! We’re both lazy,” he clarified. “We love to sleep late. We do a lot of our work on the phone, on paper, reading, right next to each other.”

Brolin, 84, also shared insight on how he and Streisand, 82, handle disagreements.

“You learn to take a walk,” he quipped. “Both of us, not just me! I just think you gotta say, ‘OK, take a deep breath, take a walk.’”

The “Ransom Canyon” star continued, “Because, you know, animals do the same thing, you know? Humans do it to each other, animals do it to each other.”

The couple tied the knot on July 1, 1998, after being set up on a blind date exactly two years before.

The “Funny Girl” actress was previously married to Elliot Gould from 1963 to 1971. They share a son named Jason.

Brolin, meanwhile, was married twice previously to Jane Agee from 1966 to 1984 and Jan Smithers from 1986 to 1995.

Brolin is dad to three children, sons Josh and Jess and daughter Molly, from his previous marriages. He and Streisand do not have any kids together.

In 2023, the Golden Globe winner revealed he had been celibate for three years before meeting Streisand, confessing they didn’t have sex until their wedding night.

“I had been — literally it’s a wild word — but I had been celibate for three years, saying, ‘Who needs this?’” Brolin said on “CBS Mornings.”

The “Westworld” actor explained that he didn’t “have any interest in getting involved in a lousy situation” due to his past failed marriages.

Brolin also shared that he asked Streisand to marry him “a minimum of three times” before she finally agreed.

He said marrying the Grammy-winning singer was “the best thing [he’s] ever done.”
