MM6 Maison Margiela is back with a new collaboration with Salomon for Spring 2025. Taking functional and technical apparel and reinvigorating them in MM6’s style aesthetic, the latest unisex collection is meant to be worn for athletic and leisure purposes.
The capsule defines a new chapter with MM6 and Salomon, continuing to celebrate both brands’ shared ethos of bringing technically advanced designs to the forefront. Promising ultralight pieces, the collaboration once again combines Salomon’s hi-tech constructive details and innovative materials with MM6’s distinctive styling. Playing with proportions in the sportswear silhouette, the collaboration brings a casual yet radical allure to current athletic trends. The mix-and-match running wardrobe features a selection of apparel items including a deep black or jadeite thin windbreaker. The utilitarian MA-1 bomber jacket is updated with a translucent windproof ripstop material that comes in a relaxed fit and features reflective taped seams throughout. The tees are emblazoned with the bold MM6 x Salomon co-branding and a playful Xerox-style imagery of a pair of Salomon ACS Pro sneakers around the neack and are designed to be ultra comfortable and breathable with 3D bio-based polyamide.
In footwear, the collection adds Salomon’s Road running shoe, the Spectur 2 to the mix. The new offering is constructed with mesh and arrives in a sleek, monochromatic black or translucent pale sage “Sea Foam Green.” XT-4 Mule sneakers are reworked and arrive in two different seasonal colors including the Ultramarine. In other accessories, the collection features ripstop constructed baggy shorts, a running cap as well as a XT-15 Backpack.
The collection’s first drop lands on April 17 and the second on May 8 at select retailers and online at MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon.
