Entertainment icons and stars will once again have the chance to be permanently memorialized as part of the industry’s most timeless tribute, with the Hollywood Walk of Fame now accepting nominations for its 2026 class.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced it is officially accepting nominations for the 2026 Hollywood Walk of Fame class, with a submission deadline set for May 15.
The Walk of Fame Committee will meet in June to consider those eligible across its six categories: Motion Pictures, Television, Recording, Radio, Live Theatre/Performance, and Sports Entertainment.
The latest crop of entertainment pioneers to have their own stars on the Walk of Fame will be announced in June or July, with their stars being unveiled next year.
“The Walk of Fame Committee will select an elite group of personalities to become our newest Walk of Famers and continue to help make Hollywood the most famous landmark in the world,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies.
“This is an easy way to nominate your favorite entertainer or client with their permission,” Martinez added.
Agents looking to nominate their clients or fans simply trying to get their favorite performers more recognition will need to submit their application, a form of written consent by the nominee, and the $275 application fee by noon on May 15.
Additionally, applications will need a photo of the nominee, a brief biography, a list of professional qualifications, a record of “community and civic involvement” and a promise by any living nominees to attend their ceremony if selected.
Posthumous nominees must wait at least two years before they are eligible for enshrinement, organizers said.
The committee says it selects about 24-30 honorees per year, and anyone who is unsuccessful in their bid must re-submit in order to be considered the following cycle.

Prince will also receive a star as a posthumous nominee.
