Some animals are very aggressive cuddlers. They love you so much that they would like to try to crawl under your skin, and most of the time, we let them. Aggressive cuddlers are a plague on everyone, including their siblings.
On Tuesday, April 8th, one big Maine Coon cat decided he needed to cuddle his little kitten brother. What ensued was hilarious and, possibly, slightly dangerous. Good thing their mom was right there:
Milo and Ozzie are too cute. They may be different in size right now, but that won’t last very long. Pretty soon, Ozzie will be big, too!

Milo is almost three years old, so he’s nearly full-grown by now! His little brother, Ozzie, is newer to the world, though; he still has a while to grow. He can definitely keep up with Milo when it comes to playing, though. He learned from the best!
Milo loves to play, and he loves to cuddle, which are two of the best traits of Maine Coons as a whole. His brother may not have been able to breathe for a second, but you can trust that he was feeling the love. If he wanted to get up, he would’ve!
The two of them can almost always be found together, sleeping, wrestling, or grooming each other. They’re so cute it’s a little rude:
Maine Coons are some of the most “dog-like” cats of them all! They’re relatively easy to train to use the litter box, and they’re usually good at doing tricks and even walking on a leash. These kitties mostly live inside, though: there’s a whole farm outside!
Milo is a lot bigger than his little brother, so smothering him with love could potentially be dangerous, but his mom handled it like a champ. She offered a swift correction (with her foot, as we all do occasionally) in a gentle way.
Milo didn’t mind, and I’m sure Ozzie thought it was nice to breathe!
