HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Botanical Garden is bringing the community together for their Cultures in Bloom event, a family-friendly celebration of world music, dance, and plants.
The cultural festival will be held on May 4.
“This event is a celebration of diversity, shared humanity, and the natural beauty that binds us all,” Laura McPhail, director of Communications and Guest Experience, said.
Painted against the backdrop of the scenic shores of Little Smith Lake and Lake Lonnie, Cultures in Bloom, invites families to travel around the world in the comfort of their own neighborhood.
HBG said guests can earn passport stamps with every new cultural encounter. Representatives from various North Alabama cultural organizations, including Hispanic, Latino, Filipino, Nepalese, Scottish, German, French, Pan-African, and more will be onsite to offer insight into their respective cultures.
Every guest will receive a themed passport based on ticket type.
