Sometimes, all you need to set your mind right is to take a moment, breathe, and practice gratitude for the world around you. A great way to do this is by watching the sunrise and sunset to remind yourself of all the beauty life has to offer.
If you ask Golden Retriever, Dexter, the sun and all its glory are best enjoyed with friends, so that’s exactly what he intends to do.
The 11-second clip shared by @samanddex is everything good and pure. The adorable Golden doesn’t take the sun or its gifts for granted and he wants to revel in it with his best buddies—his stuffies.
There can’t possibly be a more heartwarming video in existence. Not surprisingly, this snippet of Dexter’s end-of-day ritual is making people feel a lot of things.
“This is how I want to imagine doggy heaven is,” one person wrote. “Omg. He wants to share the beauty with his babies,” another added.
And, after many noted the pup’s evening ritual looks like some kind of offering or mediation to the sun gods, one comedian joked, “Ummm, what’s his next event? Sacrifice? Is he calling a demon?”

You may be wondering if this is an isolated event, but Mom assures in the comments it’s not. She doesn’t post each one because, “the rest of his events are pretty boring in comparison. He can’t take them all to the store or on walks. He just brings them in and out a lot.”
Some dogs have an emotional support stuffie, but Dexter’s include the whole gang. That is, until he gets to ride along with Mom to Home Depot. Only then is he challenged with choosing his most special stuffie to tag along.

Not all dogs have a preferred stuffie and some don’t care for them at all. For Dexter to love and be loved by a whole gang of them, well that is a very special thing.
