Sydney Sweeney is offering a masterclass in revenge suiting after breaking up with her fiancé Jonathan Davino last month. Stepping out in support of her hairstylist Glen “Coco” Oropeza at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, the Eden actress donned a chocolate brown two-piece set complete with a plunging crocodile corset. She simultaneously experimented with the exposed bra trend, letting her black lace lingerie peak out from under her blazer.
The suit came courtesy of Elisabetta Franchi’s Fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection, with finishing touches thanks to Sweeney’s stylist Molly Dickson. Oropeza, meanwhile, opted for a custom suit from Walter Mendez Atelier, which featured a low-cut blazer with a wraparound ribbon of silk that fell to the floor. He later took home the Sanna Seppanen Hairstyling Award.
“I WON!” the hairstylist wrote on Instagram. “thank you @hollywoodbeautyawards for honoring me and so many others who work behind the scenes…Love you endlessly @sydney_sweeney ♥️ thank you for being by my side, for trusting me, and for being an amazing friend. You truly have a heart of gold.”
Oropeza and Sweeney have had a busy week of back and forth travel to New York City and Las Vegas. In the latter city, the actress once again donned a corset for CinemaCon, where she promoted her upcoming film The Housemaid alongside co-star Amanda Seyfried. This time, the look came sans blazer, and featured, instead, a wedding-coded silver sheen and a drop-waist belt.
As for her breakup? While a source recently told People that “things have been rocky for a long time,” Sweeney got the last word on Instagram: “only up from here,” she wrote.
