Media often portrays cats as independent and fickle friends, but the reality is that they can be just as loyal and loving as dogs. Cats may not show their adoration for loved ones the same way as other species do, but if you know just what to look (or listen) for, you’ll be able to see how much your cat loves you.
For the mom and daughter duo behind Cloudy’s Cat Cottage, the love goes both ways. These lovely ladies adore their feline neighbors and the stray cats who call their area home, which is why they created a cat cottage in their garden.
Their most recent guest, Bebe, is a gorgeous black cat who used to belong to their neighbors. Now, Bebe calls the cat cottage his home, and he considers the ladies his family. He even sang ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It’ with the sweet little girl!
Clearly, Bebe and this selfless young lady have a special bond. He knew exactly when to meow, and he even listened to all of the lyrics! Plenty of commenters pointed out that black cats are known to be especially vocal cats, but it takes an especially talented kitty to be so musically gifted.

“She’s a Disney Princess, now,” commented a viewer named Ross. “I don’t make the rules.” This is exactly what would happen if a cat lady were a Disney Princess, so I think you’re right!
It put a smile on my face to see how proud she is of this special moment with her feline friend. She spends lots of time renovating their garden house to help stray and outdoor cats have somewhere to call home—she should be proud! Cats like Bebe will bond with the people who help them feel safe, so she should give herself a major pat on the back.
Bebe’s Story
This precious outdoor cat isn’t just any stray who wandered up, looking for a place to spend the night. He had been their neighbor’s pet, and he was suddenly forced to become an outdoor cat when they brought home a new puppy. Fortunately, these kind cat ladies stepped in immediately to give him a loving home!
Just a few weeks later, Bebe is such a happy cat that he lounges in the sunlight and sings duets with his new family members. It doesn’t get much sweeter than that!
