Hilary Swank is looking and feeling better than ever at age 50.
The two-time Oscar winner showed off her swimsuit body in the Spring 2025 issue of Women’s Health, which was unveiled on Tuesday, April 8. Swank got into the early summer spirit by sporting a handful of blue bathing suit looks, including a navy blue one-piece on the magazine’s cover. The look was accessorized with a matching dark blue visor and a pair of clear hoop earrings, as well as a pale blue manicure to top it all off.
In another of the cover story’s stunning snaps, Swank opted for a lighter blue swimsuit with white outlining and side cut-outs. She looked ready for a poolside hang by sporting loose, beachy waves and natural glam makeup. Swank also changed into a blue bikini for another pic, which she accessorized with silver hoop earrings and a flowing royal blue cover-up.
In her cover story interview, Swank told the outlet she has no plans to slow down after celebrating her milestone 50th birthday last year. “Most people might be like, ‘Aren’t you worried that you’re now 50 and there’s not a lot of jobs?’ I’m like, ‘No, I have more offers now than I’ve ever had,’” she shared. “It’s an incredibly exciting time.”
One of her latest roles includes joining the cast of Yellowjackets season 3. Her mysterious character’s identity was revealed in an April episode to be the adult version of Melissa (Jenna Burgess), one of the lost teens in the wilderness after a plane crash. Her character shares a complicated history with Shauna, played by Melanie Lynskey as an adult, and Sophie Nélisse as a teen.
“I like to be part of projects where you either relate to somebody or you learn from somebody, or you’re just flat-out entertained. And sometimes the best case is when it’s all three,” Swank said of joining the Showtime series, calling her scenes with Lynskey, 47, “so juicy and so loaded and full.”
She added, “It’s fun to have that as an actor with another actress like that, to get in there and get in that sandbox and really play.”
While her Yellowjackets character is a former soccer player, Swank continues to prioritize staying active in her own life. “You don’t realize how well everything’s going until you don’t have your health,” she stated. “It was a strong reminder that I haven’t forgotten — to not take health for granted and to be as diligent as possible about learning all there is to learn about what goes in and on my body.”

Pilates, playing tennis and lifting weights are among Swanks’ current exercises of choice. “I’m actually building a gym in my garage, and I just got a piece of equipment I’m really excited about,” she shared. “I’m really blessed that I have that ability to [work out how I want], because I realize that a lot of people can’t.”
Swank noted that “exercising took a back seat for a little while” when she welcomed her twins — daughter Aya and son Ohm — at age 48 in April 2023 with her husband, Philip Schneider. “But even with the babies, when they’re napping, I have those three hours to get my exercise in and read a script or take a meeting or do an interview,” she said.
As for becoming a mom later in life, Swank said she is a “very different parent than I would’ve been, even in my early 40s.” She explained, “I’m much more patient. I’m much more understanding. I am much more, I think, interested in a different way than I would’ve been. I’m really interested in their brains. I’m fascinated about what makes them tick. And I have my career that’s already established, so I’m not divided. I’m able to really sink in and be present with them and be a hands-on parent.”
Though Swank said she would have liked to have had her kids earlier, everything worked out the way it was meant to. “That was a magical time in my life, when it all culminated,” she gushed. “It was the right time for a myriad of reasons.”
