It’s great to have siblings…until they steal your stuff. While we tend to think of toddlers fighting with their brothers and sisters for control of the toys, swiping a ball isn’t restricted to humans. And neither is tattle-taling.
In a video uploaded by Goldennuggettrio (@goldennuggettrio) a disgruntled Golden Retriever is trying its best to get Mom to intervene and insist that its doggie sibling give that ball back ASAP.
Take a look.

The video is captioned: “If animals could talk” but it’s pretty clear that this Golden is giving it his best when it comes to verbal and nonverbal communication.
With those barks and head shakes, this sweet pup is trying to say, “He took the ball, Mom! Tell him to give it back!”

Wow, what a tattler! Too funny! Who would think that this behavior extends to the pet community? It’s also a hoot that this dog doesn’t give in to his “animal instincts” and wrestle the ball away from his brother. He scores major points for attempting to remedy the situation without getting physical.

Sometimes as a parent, you have to sit back and let siblings settle their own disputes. That’s what the mom of this adorable trio does.
Luckily, the dog who was hogging the ball seems to decide all on his own that sharing is more fun than playing alone. It’s so sweet to see him trot over with the ball and give it up easily so they can all enjoy it.
As a commenter wisely writes, “Time to get 2 balls.” Or maybe even three considering the fact that by the end of this video all three Golden are standing and ready to show off the retrieving skills that earned them their name.
