At least five people were injured when a vehicle tore through a Naples storefront on Thursday morning.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office responded about 10:40 a.m. to a report of a vehicle entering the St. Matthew’s House Naples Flagship Thrift Store, 2601 Airport-Pulling Road, from one end and almost driving out the other end.

Those in the store sustained varying degrees of injury, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
The City of Naples Fire Department, Greater Naples Fire, Collier EMS and Florida Highway Patrol also responded.
Because of heavy first responder presence, there are traffic delays on Airport-Pulling Road near the Collier County Government Complex south of Estey Avenue.
Authorities are actively investigating and working to secure the scene.
The thrift store’s proceeds fund St. Matthew’s House programs to ease hunger, homelessness, and other community issues. There are seven stores, including a second store on Airport-Pulling, as well as stores in Fort Myers, Golden Gate, and Bonita Springs.
