LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn. (WHNT) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a Lincoln County man has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child and a list of other charges.
The TBI said agents with its Internet Crimes Against Children Squad obtained several indictments against Larry Cunningham, 64, of Ardmore, in an ongoing child exploitation case.
The agency said in 2023 it received a tip concerning a subject using the online messaging platform Kik to “talk about sexually abusing children and share images depicting the crimes.” TBI said that Cunningham was later identified as a suspect.
According to the TBI, on March 18, a Lincoln County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Cunningham with a list of charges.
Those charges include:
- one count of sexual exploitation of a minor for over 100 images,
- two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation for over 25 images,
- 32 counts of especially aggravated production,
- 32 counts of aggravated unlawful photography,
- 12 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, and
- one count of aggravated child abuse
Cunningham was booked into the Lincoln County jail on a $1,000,000 bond but has since bonded out, according to authorities.
The TBI said if you have any information to help in their continuing investigation, you should contact the agency at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
