Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman’s wife, Marieangela King, has filed for divorce just over a year after the couple called off their breakup.

According to court documents obtained Wednesday by Page Six, King, 37, submitted a petition for a dissolution of marriage with Allman, 48, on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and listed the date of separation as March 31.

King, who married Allman in December 2013, “is requesting $6,000 per month in temporary spousal support based on marital standard and ability for [Allman] to pay.”

She also wants “exclusive use of the residence and the parties’ vehicle (2017 Toyota Prius V),” noting that if Allman decides to keep the car, she will ask for “an additional $2,000 one-time payment and $500 per month in spousal support so that [she] may acquire a vehicle for her use.”

King told People, who was first to report the news, “We had a beautiful 13-year journey filled with memories I’ll always cherish. I know we’ll remain friends, and Elijah will always hold a special place in my heart.”

She asked for “privacy” as the pair “turn the page to this next chapter,” though Allman was not available for comment.

In February 2024, a judge granted his January 2024 divorce dismissal request after initially denying it.

The request was granted “without prejudice,” giving Allman — who had first filed for divorce in November 2021 — the opportunity to re-file at a later date.

The judge’s alternate ruling came days after Cher’s attempt to place Allman under a temporary emergency conservatorship was denied for the second time.

The judge ruled against the iconic singer’s proposed injunction because Allman proved he “has managed his finances,” “has an apartment” and “has remained drug-free.”

Cher, 78, had initially filed for conservatorship of Allman’s estate in December 2023, citing his alleged substance abuse issues and inability to “manage his own financial resources.”

Allman, whose dad is late musician Gregg Allman, objected to his mother’s request.

Although he had admittedly “struggled with addiction and spent money in ways that have not always been the most responsible,” he assured the judge in his response that he was “clean and sober,” calling a conservatorship “not necessary at this time.”

King also claimed that Cher was “categorically unfit” to take control of Elijah’s finances.

The Grammy winner officially ended her bid for the conservatorship in September 2024 after the mother-son duo “privately resolved this matter” in mediation.
