After official images surfaced earlier this week, PAN Records and Nike have taken over Milan Design Week to unveil their blacked-out collaboration. The darkened Air Max 180 represents PAN Records’ rich music history, removing the traditional medial swooshes for a sleek and elegant look.

“The Nike Air Max 180 isn’t just footwear — it’s a cultural bridge between innovation and artistic expression. For us at PAN, it represents the perfect synthesis of technical precision and boundary-pushing aesthetics that mirrors our approach to experimental electronic music,” says PAN Records founder Bill Kouligas.

For its debut, PAN Records and Nike travel to Milan Design Week for an exclusive activation. Titled “The Suspended Hour,” the experience embraces PAN’s music history with spatial audio encounters, allowing you to step into the record label’s electronic music archive. Jumping between “Anticipation, Discovery, Euphoria, Twilight, and Solitude,” “The Suspended Hour” is an interactive vision of never-ending club nights.

“Growing up in Athens, living in London, and calling Berlin home for the past 16 years, has taught me that creativity thrives at cultural intersections. Each place has shaped my perspective, giving me a unique lens to approach design challenges. I don’t see borders as boundaries but as bridges that connect different ways of thinking and creating.”

The duo’s futuristic take on the Air Max 180 lets you dance all night, pairing perfectly with your club-ready look. The collaboration moves between beats, featuring black mesh uppers, a translucent glaze, and Greek mythology iconography. “The Air Max 180 embodies what we value at PAN — bold design that pushes boundaries while remaining accessible. Both the sneaker and our label blend experimentation, technical innovation with artistic vision, creating something that stands out but still connects with people on a visceral level,” says Kouligas.

Take an exclusive look at Nike and PAN Records’ “The Suspended Hour” installation at Milan Design Week above. The collaboration will drop on April 12 via Nike and select retailers.
