This Easter, Louis Vuitton presents a decadent collection of chocolates created in collaboration with celebrated pastry chef Maxime Frédéric. At the center of this luxurious offering is the show-stopping Chocolate Egg Bag – an edible reinterpretation of the Maison’s iconic Egg Bag, originally designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Spring/Summer 2019 women’s collection.

A master of refined confectionery, Frédéric brings the Egg Bag’s futuristic silhouette to life through the artistry of chocolate. The sculptural shell is crafted from 70% dark chocolate, offering a deep, intense flavor profile, while the handles, strap and zipper pulls are recreated in 40% milk chocolate, faithfully mirroring the bag’s leather detailing. The surface is embossed with Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and an elevated attention to detail rarely seen in edible design. Inside the chocolate bag lies a 40% milk chocolate bar with a creamy hazelnut gianduja center, adding an unexpected richness and a pleasing textural contrast to the piece.

Weighing in at approximately one kilogram and priced at €225 EUR (around $245 USD), the Chocolate Egg Bag is available exclusively in select cities, including Paris, New York, Singapore, and Shanghai.
