Bravo’s long-awaited series starring the children of reality TV icons Kim Zolciak, Teresa Giudice, Meredith Marks, and Kandi Burruss is finally coming to life. Next Gen NYC follows a group of 20-something-year-olds who are used to the being in the spotlight as they work to step out of their parents’ shadows and establish their own identity amid the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple.
In a trailer released by Bravo today, fans are re-introduced to Ariana Biermann, Riley Burruss, Gia Giudice, and Brooks Marks â all of whom are children of Real Housewives legends. Whether Brooks is talking to his dad about his sex life or Ariana and Riley are charging $14,000 to Kandi’s credit card, this group is sure to captivate the attention of Bravo’s younger audience.
Fresh out of college, Gia is “determined to build a legacy all her own,” according to a press release provided to DECIDER. With law school on back burner, the Real Housewives of New Jersey personality is splitting her time between Manhattan and New Jersey â but the back-and-forth commute might just “push her over the edge.”
Riley hustled her way to the top attending NYU, “snagging every high-profile internship in sight.” Will she find her true passion in life? Or will she resort to law school and a 9-5 job like the rest of us peasants? Only time will tell!
In the meantime, Riley will reunite with her childhood friend Biermann, whose mom was also a legendary mainstay on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. With a one-way ticket to New York City, Biermann and her on-again off-again boyfriend Hudson McLeroy won’t be tardy to the party as they navigate the chaos in their personal and professional lives.
We can’t forget about Brooks, a fashion entrepreneur who made his TV debut alongside his mom in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Brooks describes work relationship with Meredith as “tumultuous” in the trailer, reminding her that she fired him just the week before. Whether he will be able to step out from under her shadow and forge a path of his own remains to be seen. But until he figures it out, he’ll be finding himself right in the middle of his friend group’s drama.
So, who else will appear in the show?
Ava Dash, the daughter of music mogul Damon Dash and fashion icon Rachel Roy, is a full-time cast member along with content creator Emira D’Spain, Gen Z it-girl and New York native Georgia McCann, crypto trader Charlie Zakkour, and the well-traveled Shai Fruchter.
Next Gen NYC premieres Tuesday, June 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
