The Golden Knights are coming off a 3-2 overtime win over the Calgary Flames. Reilly Smith scored a pair of goals, including the winning goal in the extra period. That was his 13th goal of the year. The team’s other goal was in the first period, with Pavel Dorofeyev scoring his 33rd of the season.
The Canucks are coming off a 6-2 win over the Ducks. It was a strange one, as five of those goals came in the first period, all from different players. After falling down 1-0 in the opening minutes, Elias Pettersson, Filip Hronek, Brock Boeser, Conor Garland, and Dakota Joshua all scored goals. Max Sasson added one in the third period as well.
These teams last met in February, with the Golden Knights winning 3-1. They’ll play again later in the month.
