Arsenal comes in with solid form, having no losses in their last six matches, going 2-2-0 in the Premier League and 1-1-0 in the Champions League. Their most recent win came against Fulham, with Mikel Merino and Bukayo Saka scoring goals in the 37th and 73rd minutes, respectively. Only a goal in stoppage time by Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz ruined the shutout for keeper David Raya.
Everton has been on the cusp of turning their season around for their last 11 matches, going 4-5-2, but they have struggled to break ties and have five of those in their previous seven fixtures. In their last contest, they dropped a heartbreaker in the Merseyside Derby, with a lone 57th-minute goal by Liverpool’s Diogo Jota making the difference.
This will be the second and final matchup between Arsenal and Everton after meeting back in Matchweek 16, resulting in a 0-0 draw.
