Lottie Woad, last year’s winner, looks set to challenge for a second consecutive victory in this event. Through 36 holes, Woad is tied for the lead with Kiara Romero at nine under par, but it’s a close battle. Just one shot back is a three-way tie between Andrew Revuelta, Carla Bernat Escuder, and Megha Ganne.
Revuelta shot a 66 on Friday to shoot up the leaderboard. Can she continue that momentum and erase the one-shot deficit between her and the two leaders?
Woad is looking to become the first repeat winner of this event. She defeated Bailey Shoemaker by one stroke last year. The other previous winners of this event are Rose Zhang, Anna Davis, Tsubasa Kajitani, and Jennifer Kupcho.
