Two suspects were arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from retailers across Riverside County.
The suspects were identified as Keith Thomas, 20, and Nathan Ramirez, 24, both residents of Moreno Valley, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Between Dec. 1, 2024 and March 10, 2025, the pair is accused of targeting businesses on the 1600 block of North Perris Boulevard in Perris and on the 18000 block of Collier Avenue in Lake Elsinore.
They allegedly stole over $5,000 worth of merchandise during their repeated thefts.
Detectives investigating the case eventually identified Thomas and Ramirez as the suspects involved.
On March 27, deputies served search warrants at two Moreno Valley homes — one on the 12000 block of Sunnymeadows Drive and the other on the 23000 block of Elyce Court.
While searching the properties, additional evidence linked to the thefts was discovered. The two men were taken into custody at the scene.
Both were arrested for burglary, grand theft and organized retail theft. Thomas was also charged with committing a felony while on bail. Their booking photos were not released.
No further details were released as the organized retail thefts remain under investigation.
