Drew Barrymore got some action from Matt Bomer on this morning’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show.
When the actor walked out with his Mid-Century Modern co-stars Nathan Lane and Nathan Lee Graham, he greeted Barrymore with a big fat kiss on the lips.
“That’s the only action that I get,” Barrymore said, referring to their lip-lock. “And I just ate cacio e pepe.”
Bomer told the actress, “I had to get that out of the way,” to which she responded, “Matt is the only person, funny enough, and Andrew Rannells, you two are the only people I’ve been lucky enough to have a smoochy-toodles with.”
A December 2023 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show marked the first time she got to kiss Bomer. At the end of their chat, Barrymore bonded with the star over sharing kisses with Rannells, whom she had previously smooched several times during a Thanksgiving-themed episode in November 2023. To “round it out,” Barrymore leaned in and planted one on Bomer, before telling the actor, “This is the only action I get. I’ll just be in my single celibate phase and just keep on fantasizing and come to work where I get the best life I’ve ever lived.”
Upon hearing that she’s only kissed Bomer and Rannells in recent years, Lane jokingly told the talk show host, “You’ve got to move on from gay men.”
However, it seems that this is a problem Barrymore often runs into in her dating life.
“I’m always barking up the wrong tree and every time I’m attracted to a guy — gay!” she said, while Graham added, “Well, you must be doing the Liza Minelli.”
Barrymore said something similar the last time Bomer appeared on her talk show.
“By the way, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I never meet a straight man I’m attracted to,” she said at the time. “I only am attracted to gay men. What is wrong with me? It’s like I’m barking up the wrong tree.”
The Drew Barrymore Show airs on weekdays on CBS. You can check the website for local airtimes.
