Kim Kardashian admits her children do not fully comprehend Tristan Thompson’s brother’s disabilities.

“They have a lot of questions and, at times, they might not be the most comfortable,” the Skims founder, 44, said in a confessional interview on the latest episode of “The Kardashians.”

However, she recognized, “I think it’s so important that they play with him and they really get to know him.”

In the episode, Kardashian’s four children — North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 — were all invited to Khloé Kardashian’s house to celebrate Amari’s 18th birthday.

Despite Khloé breaking up for good with the NBA star in 2021, she has remained in the disabled teen’s life and helped with his caregiving needs. Amari suffers from a severe form of epilepsy and is bound to a wheelchair.

Tristan, for his part, became Amari’s legal guardian after their mother, Andrea Thompson, died from a heart attack in January 2023.

“My kids, they’re much more exposed to Amari than some of the other kids, so [my daughter] True’s more concerned than frightened of Amari, but I do think it’s important for our kids and everyone’s kids to be exposed to all different types of people,” Khloé explained on “The Kardashians.”

Kim could be seen in the episode encouraging her daughter Chicago and another child not to be afraid.

“Are you girls a little bit scared? There’s no need to be. You know? But it’s OK if you are,” she calmly explains to the little girls while the family is gathered in Khloé’s living room.

Kim’s son Saint could be seen at one point going up to Amari to wish him a “happy birthday” after Kourtney Kardashian’s 10-year-old son, Reign, did so, as well, which Khloé emphatically praised.

“Amari has never and will never be a burden or anything like that,” the Good American founder said in a confessional interview. “Amari is one of the most special souls I have ever met.”

She continued, “When you meet someone that’s so wonderful, and then something so terrible happens to them, you do want to help. You do want to fix it and be there as much as you can.”

In another scene, while the family is gathered in the backyard, Amari begins to have a seizure, which brings Khloé’s mom, Kris Jenner, to tears.

“Today was rough,” the momager admits after pulling herself together in a separate room.

“You feel helpless when someone is having a seizure and it’s uncontrollable and there’s nothing that you could really do, but I’m glad I was here. I’m glad I was here for Amari. I’m glad I was here for Khloé.”

Kris, 69, then gushed to Khloé, “I’m so proud of you and, honestly, the way you’ve handled this whole situation in how you have just embraced this and been so brave. I love you.”

“The Kardashians” is available to stream on Hulu, with new episodes coming out every Thursday.
