The Detroit Pistons are set to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road to face the Thunder for the second and final time.

The Pistons will search for their 43rd win in the process and remain the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Thunder will continue to chase history and inch closer to 70 wins in a season. Oklahoma City currently has 63 wins in the season.

Detroit are heavy underdogs in the game with a +10.5 spread.

To make things worse, the Pistons will be without their top player, guard Cade Cunningham. Cunningham, who entered the game listed as doubtful, has been downgraded to out.

Cunningham will miss his fifth straight contest due to a left calf contusion. Dennis Schroder and Malik Beasley will likely continue to receive an uptick in playing time with Cunningham sidelined against Oklahoma City.

The 23-year-old has been stellar this season, averaging 25.7 points per game, 9.2 assists, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.0 steals while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from three in 66 games and 35.2 minutes of action.

The last time Cunningham was on the court was on March 21 against the Dallas Mavericks. In the loss, he tallied 35 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and one steal.

Not only will Cunningham be out for the Pistons, but so will Ron Holland, Isaiah Stewart, and Marcus Sasser. Those three are out as they serve their suspensions from the brawl in their most recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Holland and Sasser will be suspended for one game, and Stewart will be suspended for two games.

Oklahoma City aims to extend its 10-game winning streak as the Thunder face off against the Detroit Pistons.

The Thunder have been dominant at home, boasting a 34-5 record. They excel in the paint, ranking ninth in the NBA with 50.9 points per game in that area, largely thanks to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who contributes 13.7 of those points.

Detroit, meanwhile, has held its own on the road with a 21-17 record. The Pistons thrive in transition, ranking second in the league with 19.0 fast-break points per game, led by Malik Beasley’s 3.1 per contest.

Oklahoma City has been on fire over its last 10 games, going a perfect 10-0. During this stretch, they are averaging 125.2 points, 46.6 rebounds, 28.2 assists, 8.6 steals, and 5.3 blocks per game while shooting 50.4 percent from the field. Their opponents have managed just 106.8 points per contest.

Detroit, on the other hand, has played solid basketball, going 6-4 over its last 10 games. The Pistons have averaged 121.0 points, 44.2 rebounds, 26.9 assists, 7.4 steals, and 5.1 blocks per game while shooting 48.4 percent from the floor. Their opponents have put up 113.3 points per game in that span.
