Lewis Hamilton is gearing up for the Japanese Grand Prix later this week and carrying on his successful apparel collaboration with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama and his brand +44.
Launching his second drop of the “INFINITY” collection, it continues the partnership that began two years ago. The F1 star said of the collaboration with Sorayama, “He and I share a love of fashion and car culture too, which inspired this collection.” He added, “I think you can really see that in the chrome graphics and in the car accessories we created.” Ahead of the races in Suzuka, the collaboration is set to release featuring a selection of hoodies and sweatpants combinations in black, featuring the Sorayama and +44 co-branding in red. The pieces are highlighted by a signature Sorayama illustration of a robotic horse. A red-to-black faded bowling shirt as well as a long-sleeve is also a main offering of the second drop. In accessories, the collection features a race-coded cap in a similar color scheme to round out the collection.
Sure to be big in Japan, the collection drops on April 2 online.
