Forbes released its 2025 World Billionaire’s List, finding more than 3,000 billionaires who have a collective $16 trillion — at minimum.
It’s the biggest and richest class of billionaires yet, with the average member having a staggering $5.3 billion.
Forbes also added 288 new billionaires to its list, including some pretty recognizable names.

Jerry Seinfeld had no shortage of cash before he sold the streaming rights of “Seinfeld” to Netflix (NFLX) for a reported $500 million, but money from the transaction made him a billionaire, Forbes said. They peg his current net worth at $1.1 billion.
The movie star and former California governor is now worth around $1.1 billion, Forbes said, thanks to starring in more than 50 films and a series of successful investments and business deals.
The boss is now a billionaires, Forbes said, and is worth an estimated $1.2 billion thanks to his albums and concerts.
Lamm, who Forbes estimated is worth $3.7 billion, is not a household name, but he may become one if his company somehow succeeds. The Colossal Biosciences co-founder is on a mission to revive the woolly mammoth, Tasmanian tiger, and the dodo bird. The company is valued at more than $10 billion.
Forbes said that Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic AI, is worth a reported $1.2 billion. He and his other Anthropic co-founders all joined the list this year.
Controversial blockchain baron Justin Sun graced the list this year, worth a reported $8.5 billion, according to Forbes. The Chinese-born entrepreneur is a towering figure in the blockchain industry. As the founder of the Tron Blockchain Foundation and the owner of the file-sharing platform BitTorrent, Sun has played a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of decentralized technology.

The Australian private equity mogul made the list for the first time and is worth $8.5 billion, according to Forbes.
At just 28 years-old, Scale AI co-founder Alexandr Wang is worth a reported $2 billion, making him Forbes’ youngest self-made billionaire.
Barbara Banke is worth an estimated $2.6 billion thanks to the Jackson Family Wines empire she built with her late husband, Jess Jackson. The company owns Kendall-Jackson wines, as well La Crema and 40 other wineries around the world, Forbes reported.
Marilyn Simons became the richest newcomer on the list after the death of her husband, quantitative hedge fund pioneer Jim Simons. Forbes estimates her worth at $31 billion.
