Nearly a month after the premiere of Meghan Markle‘s Netflix lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, the products she featured will soon be available for purchase. In an email newsletter with the subject line “Made with Love” sent on Monday, the Duchess of Sussex said, “I’m so excited to introduce the As ever collection to you this week.”
In the email, Meghan wrote that the product line, which includes three types of tea, two baking mixes, honey, and the flower petal “sprinkles” and raspberry preserves that appeared in episodes of With Love, Meghan, are reflections of what she actually uses at home. “Every item is inspired by the ways I show care to the people in my life, like the lemon ginger tea blend which is a fuss-free spin on the warm drink I make at home using fresh lemons from the garden,” she said. “Or the crepe mix that transforms a typical weekend breakfast into a chance to reminisce.”
It’s the first of two launches for Meghan, whose new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, will premiere on Tuesday, April 8. “I’m so proud of what we’re creating, and the candid conversations that I’m able to have with other female founders as we unpack the twists and turns of building a business,” Meghan said in a statement when the project was initially announced. “Through my friendships and relationships, we’re able to dive into the type of insights that everyone wants to know as they’re building a business, and that I’m able to tap into as I’m building my own business with As ever.”
Meghan first announced that she planned to start a lifestyle brand called “American Riviera Orchard” last March. She later rebranded to As Ever, reportedly following copyright challenges with the company’s original name. In an interview with People earlier this month, she said that launching the brand had been “a learning curve” that included “tons of twists and turns—even with the name.”
In the Monday email, Meghan shared her motivation behind starting a lifestyle brand. “Ever since I can remember, I’ve been dreaming up easy ways to elevate the everyday into the exceptional,” she said. “I always knew that I wanted to turn these ideas into something real, and to make beautiful items that spark connection and celebrate quiet, meaningful moments. Maybe mimic the magic of Montecito in a way you can recreate at home.”
The rollout for As Ever started with an Instagram post in February where Meghan said she had chosen the name As Ever and brought Netflix on as a partner in the business. Over the weekend, the promotion continued when Meghan’s friends Abigail Spencer and Kelly McKee Zajfen shared photos of the raspberry spread in cardboard keepsake packaging.
