Immersive Gamebox and Warner Bros. Discovery have teamed up to launch a new augmented reality gaming experience based on the Batman franchise at physical venues in around the world.
Immersive Gamebox has created venues where players can move in a physical way, enjoying a gaming experience with special lighting and interactive exhibits. Each Gamebox has physical entertainment rooms equipped with 3D motion tracking, projection mapping, and touch-sensitive walls, and more for multiplayer action for players.
London-based Immersive Gamebox and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment are creating an AR game titled Batman at Immersive Gamebox. Starting April 4, 2025, fans can join forces with the DC Super Hero by stepping into Gotham City and immerse themselves in an interactive adventure at Immersive Gamebox locations worldwide.

The new Batman game is an innovative, immersive experience that blends IGB’s cutting-edge technology, including 3D motion tracking, projection mapping, and touch-sensitive walls, with DC’s legendary storytelling. Designed for groups of two-six players, the Batman game invites fans of all ages to solve puzzles, battle iconic DC Super-Villains, and make crucial decisions that shape their journey through Gotham City.
Players can explore Gotham City, stepping into environments inspired and watched over by the Caped Crusader. They can take on classic DC supervillains, solve challenges, unravel mysteries, and defeat The Joker, The Riddler, Harley Quinn, Bane and Poison Ivy. Players will solve riddles, scale buildings, drive the Batmobile and battle crime in a quest to protect Gotham City.
In Batman at Immersive Gamebox, players use teamwork, quick thinking, and physical movement, players navigate a series of challenges across Gotham City—from driving the Batmobile, solving The Riddler’s puzzles to defusing Harley’s bombs and chasing down enemies in the streets. The experience blends action, problem-solving, and cinematic storytelling, all without the need for headsets or handheld devices.

Immersive Gamebox currently has over 250 employees across global business, including in-store staff, central operations, and technology teams. The company operates 33 locations across the U.S., U.K., and Europe.
To date, the company has raised $65 million in cumulative capital raised. The Batman Arkham VR game did well on the Meta Quest VR platform.
