Netflix‘s new reality game show has a lot in common with iconic murder mystery show—a group of strangers arrive at a remote mansion where they will need to figure out whom amongst them is lying their way to victory. Oh yeah, and there’s a lot of stag imagery.

What’s the premise of Million Dollar Secret?
Netflix’s tagline reads: “How far would you go when a million dollars is on the line?”
Instead of working to uncover a group of secret traitors, Million Dollar Secret sees a group of contestants trying to figure out which one of them is secretly holding onto the million dollar prize. Find the millionaire, and win a chance to steal the money for yourself.
In Million Dollar Secret, 12 contestants will live at a “sumptuous lakeside estate” where one will receive a $1 million welcome gift. The others will receive empty boxes and will try to figure out who is hiding the cash.
Each episode will see the players take on a daily task that may give them an advantage in the game. Each night, they’re deliberate over who to eliminate over dinner. The eliminated player’s box will then be up for grabs.
Who is the host of Million Dollar Secret?
English actor and comedian Peter Serafinowicz will take up the hosting duties for the show. You may recognize him as the voice of Darth Maul in Star Wars or as the voice of Reginald Smith in Chicken Run. He also appears in Amandaland, John Wick 2, and Shaun of the Dead.
