Brett Gardner’s son Miller’s body has been released to his family, according to authorities.

Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigations Police confirmed this The Post on Sunday as the mystery surrounding the 14-year-old’s March 21 death continues.

The teen’s autopsy results have yet to be revealed, with the Daily Mail reporting last week that the process will take “at least two to three months.”

Costa Rican coroners are reportedly busy performing autopsies on murdered drug gang members amid an outbreak of violence.

Miller died earlier this month at the Arena Del Mars Beachfront and Rainforest Resort at Manual Antonio National Park.

He was on vacation at the time with dad Brett, mom Jessica Clendenin and 16-year-old brother Hunter.

The family members experienced food poisoning the evening prior to Miller being found dead in his bed.

The high school student was “clinically dead” when first responders arrived to “perform advanced life support CPR,” a Costa Rican doctor revealed.

Dr. Kevin Gannon, who runs Manuel Antonio Urgent Care, said there was “not much” his team could do.

He explained to The Post that they “could not verify a cause of death” due to the “confusing” situation.

When Brett revealed Miller’s death via the New York Yankees’ X account on March 23, the retired athlete had “so many questions and so few answers.”

Despite initial reports claiming the teenager died of asphyxiation due to “vomit in the mouth and nasal passages … when agents showed up at the scene,” that has since been ruled out as a cause of death.

It has also been theorized that Miller suffered an allergic reaction to food poisoning medication.

Gannon, however, noted that it is “very, very rare” to react this way “to normal gastrointestinal medications.”

Additionally, Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Agency’s Juan Pablo Alvarado Garcia confirmed to the Daily Mail that there wasn’t any indication of recreational drugs or alcohol contributing to Miller’s death.
