JJJJound steps up its shoe game with a reunion with Kilkenny-based shoemaking manufacturer Padmore & Barnes. Justin R. Saunders and his Montréal-based brand present the first interpretation of the shoemaker’s iconic P204 silhouette.
Hand-stitched, the Moccasin shoe has long been synonymous with quality and minimalist designs since its inception in the early ’30s. The special edition beige Moccasin is constructed with premium suede leather that sits on traditional and sustainable No1 plantation crepe sole. The sockliners are also in brown leather and see the co-branding for JJJJound and Padmore & Barnes as a nod to the collaboration. Suede details continue to the loop pull tab on the heel and polyester flat laces complement the rest of the shoe. Tonal detailing can be seen throughout the shoe, including the stitching all around.
The collaboration continues to honor the brand’s archetypal silhouette which was first introduced in the 1960s. Staying true to its original form, the P204 Original Padmore & Barnes Iconic Style is takes design inspiration from the classic Full Moccasin construction. The new collaboration drops online at JJJJound on April 10 at 12 p.m. EST.
