The Fortnite found quest “Someone is planning a joyride” requires you to steal Fletcher Kane’s car and take it for a spin.
The found quest can be a little tricky to start as only one player attempt the quest at a time. If you see a player drive off with Cassidy Quinn in their car or Cassidy Quinn isn’t at her usual location, it might be too late for you. To help you be the first person to interact with Cassidy Quinn, we’ve marked her location on the Chapter 6 Season 2 map below.

How to complete ‘Someone is planning a joyride’ quest in Fortnite
To start the quest, you must first interact with Cassidy Quinn, who can be found by a small building in front of Lonewolf Lair. Only one person can attempt the quest during a match as Cassidy Quinn will leave her position as she needs to get into the car with you, so get to this location as fast as possible!
Interact with Cassidy Quinn and select the quest dialogue option to begin the quest. Walk over to the car with Cassidy and get ready to drive away like it’s Fast and Furious.
Once you get in the car, you’ll have two minutes to drive through ten golden ring check points. The golden rings can be a little hard to spot, but they’ll always spawn in the path ahead of you. Two minutes may seem like a short amount of time, but the checkpoints don’t spawn very far apart from one another. If you’re confident in your driving skills, use the boost and floor it. If not, don’t be afraid to take it a little slower and take your time!
Once you complete the quest, you’ll receive a whole level’s worth of experience.
