Following Deadline’s scoop earlier this month that Apple Original Films was in talks for untitled UFO-disclosure package from Joseph Kosinski and Jerry Bruckheimer, the studio officially has confirmed it had closed a deal for the package. The film will reunite Kosinski and Bruckheimer, who worked together on Top Gun: Maverick and the upcoming F1.
To be written by Academy Award-nominee Zach Baylin, the untitled thriller will explore disclosure around UAPs (formerly known as UFOs). The film will be produced by Bruckheimer and Chad Oman for Jerry Bruckheimer Films and Kosinski for Monolith. David Grusch will serve as a consultant and associate producer on the project.
Hailing from Apple Studios, this marks the latest collaboration for Apple Original Films, Kosinski and Bruckheimer following the upcoming feature F1, starring Brad Pitt, hailing from director Joseph Kosinski’s Monolith, Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Plan B Entertainment, and seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton’s Dawn Apollo Films banner, and made in collaboration with Formula 1. The highly anticipated film will be distributed in theaters around the world and in IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures in North America on June 27, 2025, and internationally beginning June 25, 2025.
