Last week at Las Vegas, Berry earned the first win of his Cup Series career, taking the checkered flag ahead of Daniel Suarez. The Wood Brothers have struggled in recent years with Harrison Burton behind the wheel, but seem to have found something with Berry.
Ryan Preece, William Byron, and Ross Chastain rounded out the top 10 last weekend. Byron currently leads the point standings while Christopher Bell, who has three wins this year, is in second place.
Last year, this race was run in October, with Tyler Reddick taking the win after leading 97 laps. Ryan Blaney led 47 laps and finished second, Denny Hamlin led 21 and finished third, and Chase Elliott led 81 laps and finished fifth.
